First Look at WWE SummerSlam Betting Odds

Ronda Rousey, Roman Reigns, and Braun Strowman are currently the largest favorites on the show, which does not seem like too much of a surprise. Rousey has always looked like the logical choice to walk away from SummerSlam with gold in the women’s branch, Strowman is in the midst of a significant push which should lead to him finally getting involved from the Universal name picture, and Reigns seems to finally get that elusive win over Lesnar.
Possibly the most surprising note in the current odds is that Carmella is favored to walk from SummerSlam still holding the SmackDown Women’s Title. Considering perennial enthusiast favorites Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch are across the ring from her, it would be most surprising to see her leave the series with gold. However, there’s always the chance that a conflict between Flair and Lynch causes both of them to eliminate the game as they start a feud against one another coming out of SummerSlam with Carmella still reigning as champion.
Both The Miz and Daniel Bryan are actually considered underdogs in their own death. Odds makers clearly do not understand what to make of that match entirely. Bryan’s pending contract expiration using WWE certainly plays a part in that.
Other notable items from the chances reveal the Bludgeon Brothers, who is title reigns was anything but a creative success so far, preferred to conquer The New Day, Seth Rollins looking likely to recapture the Intercontinental title, and Shinsuke Nakamura that the odds-on favorite to walk out of this show still U.S. champion.
